About Wilma's Tea Cosy
Akwaaba! Experience a teahouse with a difference, featuring a combination of quaint old fashioned tea service and fine dining, with an ethnic flair. The principal, Wilma Glover-Koomson, was born and raised in Ghana, a former British colony, and has designed the Tea Cosy based on her love of everything tea, creating her own blends from teas around the world, and hosting tea formal teas.
Wilma is also known for her love of ethnic fashion. What better way to bring that combination and vibrancy of color to the Tea Cosy – thus making sitting down for tea a more unique experience? This is not your ordinary teahouse. Some of the items on the menu will feature some non-traditional offerings of ethnic Ghanaian cuisine as appetizers. However, the main fare will be a variety of teas featuring traditional tea time favorites such as scones, cakes, sandwiches, macaroons, biscuits, madeleines, and specialty soups and salads.
Wilma's Tea Cosy is not the ordinary carry-out tea and coffee venue. Its uniqueness will be in its ethnic flair, in décor, hospitality, as well as the variety of meal offerings and wait services. So, sit back and enjoy a different tea experience. Bon appétit!
